2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance

Volkswagen is now also introducing the new Golf GTI Performance. Its new output: 180 kW/245 PS, which is 15 PS more than in the previous model. Its maximum torque has been increased by 20 Nm to 370 Nm and is available over a broad engine speed range (between 1,600 and 4,300 rpm). Equipped with this engine, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds; its top speed is electronically governed to 250 km/h. These performance figures apply to both the version with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the version with the newly developed 7-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG). However, the DSG version of the Golf GTI Performance is more fuel-efficient with a (combined NEDC) fuel consumption of 6.3 l/100 km.
